FAQ
Note on Covid 19:
Please note we support social distancing and are taking all necessary precautions to keep our team and guests as safe as possible. We are glad to schedule a zoom meeting if you are ready to plan your event but uncomfortable with an in person meeting. We are celebrating responsibly. We look forward to planning with you!
Q: Should I hire Weddings by Princee to do planning or just coordination? What is the difference?
A: Every relationship starts with a free consultation. We are here to find out exactly what you are seeking and working with you to execute the perfect plan for you. Our full planning are for those clients who may work in the medical filed [most demanding at this time] or those planning from out of town and have minimal time to dedicate into planning. Month and Day Coordination suits the client who was involved with the planning, securing vendors and designing their perfect day, but realize that they don't want to be the event manager of their own wedding day. (This was me, planning my wedding)
Q: How do I book?
A: In order to secure your date, you will sign our contract agreement and pay a deposit. Full payment is due 7 days prior to your event.
Q: When should I hire a planner?
A: Typically couples hire for full service planning 9-18 months before their wedding. Couples looking for a coordinator will book 6-10 months before the big day. Furthermore, as far a wedding manager, it varies 2-3 months before you say I do. I guarantee it's the "when you know, you know!"
Q: When do we start working together?
A: Once booked our planning relationship begins right away!
Full service: Immediately meeting to determine your wedding day vision, style and budget. We are always available to answer emails or telephone calls and text messages, during the business hours of 8 am to 6 pm.
Month and day coordination: This relationship blooms 2-3 months prior to event. We gather all plans and details for final itinerary and a timeline is created by Weddings By Princee to facilitate your event. Reminders for securing vendors and helpful timeline guides.
Q: What are the amount of hours per event?
A: Wedding manager - 6 hours; Month and day coordination – 8 hours; Full service 10 hours.
Q: What kind of coordinator are you?
A: We want you, your friends, and family to be celebrating you – not worrying about the photographer arriving on time or placement of the centerpieces. We will meet with you in advance to collect all the information needed for your special day. It is never our desire to be the bossy gals making sure everyone operates on a tight schedule. We will arrive fully prepared, organized and give you the sense of calmness you seek.
Q: What is a "normal budget" that you typically work with?
A: We work with all ranges of budgets! There is no "requirement" of a minimum budget for us to serve you during your planning process. Most couples spend anywhere from 10-20% of their total wedding budget on a planner or coordinator.
